YOU ARE A COCK WRECKER.

The most searched erotic videos of 2019 all have one thing in common; Asian women. This means that In the 42 billion yearly visits to popular erotic website, PornHub (sorry kids no links) , words such as Japanese, Chinese, Hentai, Korean, submissive, anime, and cosplay, tend to come up in the Top 20 searched terms more than any other terms imagined.

For Fall/Winter 2020, Berlin based designers, Nan Li and Emilia Pfohl, want to pull the power from the male dominated world and place it into the hands of the “submissive exotic Asian” with help from PornHub.

Namilia wants to speak on porn’s chauvinistic ways; how it eliminates the female perspective and a woman’s own needs in order to stroke the male ego.

As the runway show started, there were a few audible gasp and quiet questions of political correctness as we all watched the show take place at Pier59. At first I thought it was from the shows beginning music, an American news broadcast speaking about the “Chinese epidemic/ Coronavirus,” but as quickly as I realized that was playing, the music changed to an upbeat typical runway track.

Bright Chinese brocade fabrics paraded the runway as Asian models, of all sizes and heights, rocked XL nails and oversized combat boots. Big letters spelling out “CockWrecker” “Cock Flavor” “Dickalicious” were accompanied by outfits that were adorned by little fabric shrimp and noodles. One skirt had an embroidered pair of chopstick picking up an “penis egg roll” directly over the woman’s bikini area.

Is this the way to take back power or is this just another way to gain some cool headlines and internet clicks from an already cult following? Is this killing the Asian stereotypes and screaming “FUCK YOU” to white supremacy or is that Asian model just dressed up in a take out container?

I’m not an asian woman so I can not comment on the message’s effectiveness but I appreciate the dialogue being created so that there is a table for Asian women to speak on their dislikes in the porn industry and how they are being portrayed.

P.S.: Swaeetie or Rico Nasty would look killer in the flame pants and long sleeve ensemble.
