#NYFW | Cynthia Rowley S/S 20
A flower child in a Dr. Seuss children’s story graced the cobblestone streets of the lower east side for New York Fashion Week. Cynthia Rowley transports us into the pages of The Lorax with a runway kissed with oversized balloons, deep colors and abstract fabric prints.
Scallops here. Scallops there. Scallops are in the details everywhere.
Scallops show up continuously as various forms through the collection. They are on the maxi dresses and wetsuits. They are apart of the makeup looks. They are apart of the details on the bags and accessorizes.
A major eye catcher from the Spring/Summer collection was the color blocked pants reminiscent of the 70s polyester leisure suit. I love the two toned pants matched with the solid suite jacket and the abstract flower sweatshirt. It’s a perfect addition to anyones wardrobe and will look great on various body types.
My current favorite piece in the collection has to be the blush pink lace jacket with the small feather detailing on the yoke and shoulders. I can’t wait to add that to my wish list. I’ve been dreaming about the jacket since I was crouched down on the sidewalk photographing the show.
With out further due, here are 9 of my favorite looks from the Spring/Summer Collection.
