#NYFW | Mrhua Mrshua S/S 20

Mrhua Mrshua is a intricate merger of East meets West. SS20’s collection ‘Male left female right of MIX, ’ created by Chinese designer NiuNiu Chou, is an exaggerated depiction of cultural and art influences. VIBRANCY is key. From head to toe, every model is layered with abstract patterns and silk tapestries making the viewers mind run wild. Is this a nod to Frida Kahlo? Is this a reference to Bengali sarees and Tussar silk or elaborate Han clothing seen in Imperial China? What about the makeup; a runway adaptation to of tribal places? The thoughts are endless just as the colors in the spectrum.

Here are 9 of my favorite looks.
