Earth Day Is Everyday.
In the eyes of Los Angeles based designer, Marina Tia Leight, you can create beauty with what you have. The daughter of a ballerina and fisherman, Leight has mastered the art of whimsical designs, fine tailoring and hand detailing through her studies at the Fashion Institute of Deign and Merchandising and studying haute couture as an apprentice in the city of Rome.
During the “NEVERENDING” showcase with Bomme Studios presented by UnderPinPR, Marina Leight Atelier showcased a 8 piece capsule collection by using scraps from previous projects that would have been discarded and also found fabrics and upcycled items. All 8 designs featured a simplified monochromatic color scheme designed with lace and chiffon.
